I have always loved acting. I loved acting before I even know I was good at telling jokes.
It all started when I was in High school and decided, that instead of art, I would take drama as an elective. From the first day, I was hooked!!
They call it the "acting/theater/stage bug". You "catch" it. I think that is partially true. I believe more so that it catches you, latches on and invades your personality, leaving nothing but the desire to perform in its wake.
That is what happened to me. I performed my first assignment and received the applause from it, I thought to myself, "This is it. This is home."
I have recently decided to get back into more of an acting focus. I am still doing comedy as close to full time as possible, but I am also trying to get as many acting opportunities as I can.
I miss the theater, but with my comedy schedule I may not be able to commit to a run in a playhouse, so I am focusing on every acting gig I can get my hands on.
So keep your eyes peeled for me. I am working it.
Thanks for all the support in all my crazy ventures!!
